It was another lovely day that fused into a glorious night. The moon was out. This was the sign that it was time to gather for yet another story. Matilda the story teller never seemed to run out of ideas for a new story.

Tonight was a unique experience because everyone got to build the story together and there was no telling where and how it would end. Matilda put up five fingers and the boys and girls shouted out, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.., Matilda started off with, once upon a time, there was a boy called Andrew. He was 11 but he looked quite small for his age. The story teller pointed to Jane…. Who came in on queue. Andrew was very clever and crafty. He was the eldest of 3 children. He had an 8 year old sister called Jennifer and a 6 year old brother called Samuel. Jane pointed to Stephen… One day, Andrew was playing in the garden shed where he found an unusual looking shoe box. It was made of gold and had a lock on. Andrew shouted out, ‘Jennifer, Samuel, come quickly! Come and see what I have found! ‘The Children were becoming excited about the story as momentum was building up. Stephen pointed to Amy….who continued the story.

Jennifer and Samuel came running over almost falling over a log in the shed. They were all very excited about the mystery box. As they looked at the box, they had to decide who would open it….Amy pointed to Sade…Jennifer and Samuel pointed spontaneously at Andrew. Andrew took a deep breath and decided to approach the box with caution. He tiptoed like a detective. Just as he was about to reach out for the box, suddenly, there was a loud noise in the shed and the box began to spin around. Find out from the story teller, what happened next…
